No other Ethical Zinc or Endota products are affected by this recall. This recall was required by the Therapeutic Goods Administration in accordance with Section 30EA of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.
What is the issue?
Testing indicates that the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) level of the affected products is unlikely to meet the labelled SPF rating.
What are the risks?
A lower than labelled SPF rating may increase the risk of sunburn during use and reduce the long-term effectiveness of preventing skin cancer. To date, no serious adverse events relating to the use of Ethical Zinc or Endota products have been reported.
